Trial Update
Creep through copper corridors, harness auto-crafting, triumph over waves of hostile mobs, leap using wind charges and adorn your homes with new decorative blocks, weapons, items and paintings. This update also features the trial chambers, a sprawling structure stuffed with traps and tricky combat challenges that reward every player. The new Vault block can be unlocked with a key earned from completing these trials, and rewards can include everything from equipment to high-level enchantment books.
Two new mobs are coming to Minecraft with this update, including the breeze – a mischievous mob that attacks by sending wind charges that knock back players and can be repelled by players using a shield. This mob spawns in the swamp biome and in the new Trial Spawners and Ominous Trial Spawners, where it can be killed for a chance to drop Breeze Rods that can be used to craft Flow Armor Trim Smithing Templates and Wind Charges that can be thrown by players or dispensers. The Bogged – a Skeleton variant that can be found in the Swamp and Mangrove Swamp biomes, shoots arrows similar to Skeletons but with a chance of dropping Poison Arrows if killed.
In addition, this update introduces a new option to submit Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) to the PRS. SAPs can be submitted as an update to the clinical trial record, or attached as an additional file, and must be refreshed at least once a year until final results are reported.
